What is the Junior Section?

Junior section is for our school year 4 to 6 Boys Brigade members.

What We Do

In Juniors we like the noisy fast games, from football through to shipwreck. Chinese Handball is a popular game within this section, and if you don't know what it is have a word with a leader or Junior Section attendee! We like to be creative and will make anything from a craft through to a dinner!

We also participate in football training for local competitions.

We spend time learning about God and the Christian life from our Bible stories and by some very fun activities where everyone can get involved, and often do.

Its at the Junior Section age where the members are first able to attend residential activities such as weekend camp and house parties, where they have 1 over night stay that wears them and the staff out. We sometimes go out on trips as well, with our favorite places being Bowling and the park during the summer months

Badges

Each year an Junior can achieve a Badge. They do this by taking part in various activities throughout the year, from the following zone.

  • Body - fit for fun
  • Mind - think and do
  • Spirit - God and me
  • Community - me and my world
  • Creativity - make and do

Uniform

As with all sections within the Boys Brigade there is a uniform, which for us consists of a compulsory Polo Shirt, and an optional sweatshirt.
